bro, do you often across douyin posts with comments full with cyberbullying? i often see some celebs have them and these accounts always says the same thing but with many likes which is ridiculous to me. are they bot or yxh's accounts? or are they a real person? 😂
For sure, I’ve seen douyin creators who 翻车/get embroiled in scandals and get a lot of hate for a while and disappear, lie low, etc. Some of the creators I’ve posted here before have been the center of controversy in some way or another actually lol, and whenever that happens their comments/comments on drama slop recap videos are usually full of the same comments for a while. It’s pretty similar to what you’d see in the English web tbh.
There’s also definitely like an lolcow side of douyin where you see like more classic (not drama based) cyberbullying by trolls…
I don’t follow celebs/influencer drama closely enough to be tapped into the bot stuff tho.

Hello! I see in some of the comments you translate, a hug emoji is used, also at the end of snarky/threatening/etc messages. In that context, are we supposed to read it as the user holding the user up by their neck, or is it more of a sarcastic show of care like ending a threat with a heart? Thanks for your time!
It’s still a hug, but yeah, it’s just meant to be extremely passive aggressive.
